Where to Stay

We recommend staying at the Sheraton for convenience, as the yacht will depart from the marina just behind the hotel.

Harbor Island

Set along the marina, the hotel places you steps from the celebration. The yacht will depart just behind the property, allowing for a seamless transition from room to dock.

Day of the Party

At 1:00 PM, The Nerissa will arrive at the dock behind the Sheraton San Diego Resort to welcome everyone aboard.

We’ll spend the afternoon cruising beautiful San Diego Bay from 1:00 PM–5:00 PM with heavy appetizers, a hosted bar from 1:00–4:00 PM, a cash bar beginning at 4:00 PM, music, and incredible waterfront views.

When we return to the dock, the celebration will continue with a casual reception at Brewery X at the Sheraton San Diego Resort from 5:30 PM–7:30 PM. Join us for an open bar, pizza, wings, salad, and more time to relax, mingle, and celebrate together before the evening comes to a close.

Parking & Arrival

Parking is available at the Sheraton San Diego Resort for guests attending the party aboard The Nerissa.

Guests who choose self-parking should take a parking ticket upon entering the resort and continue driving around to the back of the hotel, where guest parking is available. Upon boarding the yacht, you’ll receive a $15 parking voucher to use toward your parking fee.

Valet parking is also available through the Sheraton for guests who prefer not to self-park.

Please plan to arrive approximately 30 minutes before departure. Boarding begins 15 minutes before our scheduled departure.

After parking:
1. Walk through the hotel lobby and exit through the back of the resort.
2. Continue toward the Whale Fountain and turn right.
3. Gather near the fire pits overlooking the marina.
4. Please do not walk onto the dock. A member of The Nerissa crew will escort everyone

Arriving by Rideshare

If you’re arriving by Uber, Lyft, or taxi, have your driver drop you off at the main entrance of the Sheraton San Diego Resort. Walk through the lobby, exit the back of the hotel, turn right at the Whale Fountain, and meet the group at the fire pits.

Helpful Tip: If you’re using GPS, navigate to Sheraton San Diego Resort. Once on property, follow signs toward guest parking. If you have any questions after arriving, hotel staff or The Nerissa crew will be happy to point you in the right direction.

What to Wear

Think relaxed coastal chic. Sundresses, shorts, polos, lightweight pants, and casual summer attire are all perfect choices. We recommend bringing a light jacket since it can become cool once we’re out on the bay.

Footwear

Guests are welcome to wear typical sneakers or boat shoes onboard Nerissa, as long as the soles are soft and light-colored — white or tan. The key is the bottom of the shoe, not the top: a white sneaker with a dark sole is not yacht-friendly, while a white or tan sole is perfectly fine throughout the charter.

Guests are also welcome to go barefoot, which many find part of the relaxed, elevated, “vacation mode” feel of stepping aboard.

For anyone who arrives in dress shoes, platforms, heels, or shoes with dark soles, we provide fresh hotel-style slippers onboard so guests can stay comfortable without going barefoot. Shoes that aren’t yacht-friendly are stored in our dedicated shoe bin — kept clean and covered with a fresh towel for the duration of the charter — and returned to guests as they disembark.

Day(s) Before the Party

Thursday evening arrivals are expected, with time to settle in, explore San Diego, and reconnect.

On Friday, we’ll gather casually during the day and host drinks and appetizers in the Honeymoon Suite that evening for our out-of-town guests — a relaxed meet-and-greet before we set sail.

Think light plans, easy energy, and time well spent together.

Day of the Party

On Saturday, August 15, 2026, we’ll exchange vows privately aboard The Nerissa before guests arrive.

At 1:00 PM, the yacht will pull up to the dock behind the Sheraton San Diego Resort to welcome everyone aboard. From 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, we’ll cruise the San Diego Bay with heavy appetizers, an open bar, music, and uninterrupted views.

This is not a traditional wedding — it’s a celebration on the water. Come ready to toast, dance, and enjoy the ride.
